Georgian to Swedish Translations Study

The main focus of the Georgian to Swedish Translations Study is those books translated into Swedish from Georgian since 1991 until today. Based on statistical information,
the study aims to give a general observation regarding the tradition of translations from Georgian or Georgian via other language into Swedish before and after 1991, discovers the main steps and phases of the translation, division of genres and other online publications or periodicals in relevant with the general situation in Swedish book publishing market. The study was conducted by Natia Lortkipanidze, who lives in Sweden and is active member of National Library of Sweden, and translated into Georgian by Sopho Bujiashvili.
