The Book Platform project announces its Events Participation Support scheme designed for a wide range of people working in the book sector: cultural managers, publishers, writers, translators, literary agents, etc. The scheme aims at supporting sustainable international working contacts and exchange of book professionals from Armenia, Georgia and Ukraine with colleagues from the EU countries as well as from the countries of the Eastern Neighborhood. The scheme will provide co-funding for international travel as per criteria described below. The Events Participation Support scheme is part of the Book Platform project funded by the European Union in the framework of the EuroEast Culture Programme.
The scheme has limited resources, and is open between October 21, 2013 and June 20, 2014 (final reporting date), or until the resources available are exhausted. As of April 17, 2014, the call is closed due to exhausted resources!
BP Events Participation Support scheme is designed for a wide range of people working in the book sector: cultural managers, publishers, writers, translators, literary agents, etc. to travel to the EU/European Neighborhood in relation to a concrete project that they are working on with colleagues abroad. The proposals funded under this scheme should represent a starting point for a continued collaboration and the resulting projects should have a proven impact on the country's book scene and/or book policy-making. Eligible proposals should include a well-prepared travel itinerary and have a clear plan of activities with at least one committed partner or host in the destination country.
Applications must be in line with all the eligibility criteria, listed below. Please read these carefully. Proposals that do not meet the criteria will not be considered.
