(in alphabetical order of their family name)- Arevik Ashkharoyan (Armenia) is the founder of Yerevan-based First Armenian Literary Agency, translator, journalist. Arevik promotes Armenian authors to international publishers, she negotiates translations of Armenian books abroad, and also she represents foreign agencies in Armenia. Her publishing house assists in book publishing of modern writers and poets, as well as classics of Armenian literature, among which are Aram Pachyan, Hovhannes Tekgyozyan, Gurgen Khanjyan, Hracya Saribekyan and Armen Ohanyan as well as a children's writer Armine Anda.
- Pierre Astier (France) is a literary agent, publisher, promoter. Founder of quarterly short stories magazine Le Serpent à Plumes (1998-1996). Until 1996 published 30 issues and more than 250 authors from all over the world. In the meantime, in 1993, he founded his own publishing house, Le Serpent à Plumes Editions, focusing on French and international fiction. Until 2004, and for 15 years he runs this medium-size publishing house (more than 500 titles published) which he left in 2004 after it was absorbed by Rocher Group.In 2006 he creates Paris-based Litterary Agency Pierre Astier & Associés (Film & Rights Literary Agency) with Laure Pécher, one of the few agencies on French book market. The agency represents French-speaking authors from Europe, North Africa, Caribbean Islands and non French-speaking authors from Eastern Europe, Scandinavia, Middle-East and Asia (Gyrdir Eliasson, Hitonari Tsuji, Hubert Klimko, Dany Laferrière, Gilles Rozier, Goce Smilevski, Asli Erdogan, Abdourahman A. Waberi, Moshe Sakal, Rabee Jaber, Pascale Quiviger, Samir Naqqash, Marie Vieux-Chauvet, Patrice Nganang, Hervé Le Tellier, Andrej Kokotyukha, etc). The agency actively promotes cooperation between publishers, Northern and Southern publishers particularly.Since 2007 regular lecturer at Paris-La Sorbonne University (Paris IV and Paris XIII) on International Book Markets, on acquiring and selling rights. Under his direction 25 volumes of short stories collection MINIATURES has been published up to now, on regions or countries or languages: Haïti, Morocco, Argentina, Bengal, Iceland, Israël, Mauritius, Madagascar, etc. The Miniatures Ukraine was published in 2012. Lives and works in Paris.

Olaf Kühl (Germany) – translator, writer, literary critic. Born in Wilhelmshaven in 1955, earned a degree in
Slavic Studies and East European History at Free University in Berlin before founding the Ost-West-Büro (OWB) for Eastern European consultation and translation in Berlin. He earned his
doctorate in 1995 and worked as an interpreter and translator for the governing mayor of Berlin. Translated from Polish (Andrzej Stasiuk, Dorota Maslowska), Ukrainian (Andriy Bondar, Iuriy
Andruhovuch), Russian (Arkadiy Babchenko, Anna Yablonskaya's plays, Aleksandr Kabakov). In 1995 he earned his doctorate degree with a thesis on the prose of Witold Gombrowicz. In 2005 he
received the Karl Dedecius Prize for his lifetime achievements, in the same year he received the German prize for youth literature for his translation of Dorota Masłowska's Snow White
and Russian Red. With a Border Crosser research grant from the Robert Bosch Foundation he conducted research in 2008 in Siberia and wrote the novel Tote
Tiere [Dead Animals] (Rowohlt Berlin, 2011). In winter semester 2011/2012 he was appointed August Wilhelm von Schlegel Visiting Professor for Poetics of Translation at
Free University of Berlin. He lives in Berlin.
- Ed Nawotka (USA) is the founder and Editor-in-Chief of Publishing Perspectives, an online magazine for the international publishing industry that has been called "the BBC of the book world". Prior to launching Publishing Perspectives, he worked as book columnist for Bloomberg News and daily news editor of Publishers Weekly. He has also served as the literary director of the Texas Book Festival, a judge for various book awards, and has worked as a foreign correspondent, a bookseller, literary magazine editor and advertising copywriter. As a journalist he has reported from more than 30 countries. He continues to be a widely published freelance writer, with his work regularly appearing in publications across the United States, as well as overseas. Ed's reviews, essays and reporting have appeared in The New Yorker, The International Herald Tribune, The Guardian,Travel Leisure, Los Angeles Times, Budget Travel,New Statesman, USA Today,and People,among others.
- Renate Schmidgall (Germany) – translator, author. Studied Slavic and German literature at Heidelberg University. From 1984-1990 worked at the German Institute for Polish Literature (Deutsches Polen-Institut) in Darmstadt, and from 1996 as a freelance translator of Polish literature (translating the works of Paweł Huelle, Andrzej Stasiuk, Jacek Dehnel, Wojciech Kuczok, Piotr Sommer, Wisława Szymborska, Adam Zagajewski and others). She has received three prizes for her translations of Polish prose and poetry, most recently the Karl Dedecius Award (2009). She has also published her own poems in literary journals including Akzente, Sinn und Form as well as in many Polish literary journals as Tytuł, NaGłos, Krasnogruda, Topos and Bliza. She lives in Darmstadt.

Justyna Sobolewska (Poland) – literary critic and journalist. She worked in the cultural departments of the
weekly Przekrój and of the journal Dziennik. Currently, she is a journalist for the weekly magazine Polityka and a regular collaborator of the TV
station TVP Kultura. She is a member of jury of The Silesius Wroclaw Poetic Award and of The Angelus Central European Literature Award - the most important award in the field of creative
prose translated onto the Polish. In 2012 she published A Book About Reading, or Write the Rest Yourself. Currently lives in Warsaw.
