A summary of seven country studies, commissioned by GPBA within the Book Platform project
The Book Platform project and the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association invite you to a public presentation and discussion of the research "Translations from Georgian after 1991". The event will take place:
on July 10, 2014, at 18:00h
at the National Parliamentary Library of Georgia
7, Gudiashvili Street, Tbilisi
The aim of the studies was to gather data and to analyze tendencies in the flow of translations from Georgian into seven other languages. It is the first time after independence that such wealth of bibliographic data has been gathered and made available. Authors of the country studies were selected and commissioned by the Georgian Publishers and Booksellers Association (GPBA), the partner organization implementing the book platform project in Georgia. The studies are available here in English and Georgian: bookplatform.npage.org/en/activities/52-translations-from-ge-en.html
